Overview:
Dan, a massage therapist, approached me to create a calming, professional brand identity for his business, I Knead You Massage Therapy, LLC. The goal was to design a logo, flyer, and business cards that would reflect the relaxing, escape-oriented nature of massage therapy. Using a palette of blues, teals, and tans, and incorporating tropical, beach-inspired visuals, the branding aimed to evoke peace, serenity, and rejuvenation.

The challenge was to design a brand identity that clearly communicated therapeutic massage while creating an inviting, soothing tone. The logo needed to visually reference the massage process and promote a sense of calm, without sacrificing professionalism. The branding also had to appeal to individuals seeking stress relief, and create a consistent, relaxing theme across both digital and print materials.
Solution:
The final logo featured two simplified human figures, one kneading the back of the other, set against a tan circular backdrop, symbolizing warmth and comfort. The visual connection to the massage process reinforced the business name while remaining soft and elegant. The color palette of blues and teals conveyed calmness and healing, while tan added warmth and balance. Supporting materials, including the flyer and business cards, used beach-themed visuals to enhance the relaxing tone and offer a visual "escape" for potential clients.
