Scott Signs

Logo Design | Branding | Brand Style Guide

Overview:

In 2021, I was asked to redesign the logo for Scott Signs, a division of Scott Electric. With a recent name change and expansion of services, the company needed a fresh, modern identity that aligned with the parent brand but could also stand independently.

Problem:

The original logo was a basic, text-only design under the name “Signs and Engraving.” With the update to “Scott Signs,” the company needed a more distinctive and versatile logo that reflected their creative sign-making capabilities and could be used across various media.

Solution:

​I designed a bold, modern logo using the existing Scott Electric font and color palette (black, red, gray) to maintain brand consistency. A stylized “S” was added behind the text to create a graphic element representing creativity and versatility. Multiple layout and color variations were developed to ensure adaptability. I also created a full brand style guide to support consistent use across all platforms.
